Asian Salad with Tamari Almonds and Sesame Dressing

  • 1 head of lettuce, washed and chopped
  • 1 carrot, peeled and grated
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup of tamari almonds
  • 1/4 cup of sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
  • In a large bowl, combine the chopped lettuce, grated carrot, sliced cucumber, and sliced bell pepper.

  • In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the rice vinegar, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, minced garlic, and vegetable oil until well combined.
  • Pour the dressing over the salad and toss to coat.
  • Add the tamari almonds and toasted sesame seeds to the salad and toss again.
